You may or may not have tired of me sharing all the tie dye everything for the last few weeks. I admit, I may have a problem, lol.

If you have been following my blog or Instagram posts for a while you will know my love for all things tie dye. Although the trend’s been around for decades, it has mostly been dead for last few years. I think before 2019, the last time I wore tie dye was as a kid! Once the trend resurfaced I had all the nostalgic happy feels. I guess I wasn’t the only one because production of the style picked up speed, and I would have never thought it would linger this long with no end in sight.

Maybe because the casual and colorful style appeals to so many? Or maybe it’s months of being more stuck at home than usual that tie dye gives many a fun way to chill and unwind? Certainly doesn’t hurt to throw on such a happy print… it’s an instant mood booster for me!

My favorite way to wear it has been in cozy lounge wear like this two piece short set from Amazon. Walmart also offers similar styles like this two piece drawstring pajama set. I already own multiple styles of each and I find them comparable; it’s just a matter of color preference and there’s so many combinations available.

With the exception of a basic tee simply styled with some cutoff denim, I haven’t really worn the trend out and about. But then I came across this Superdown Paris jogger set from Revolve with a cropped zip up hoodie. I absolutely loved the color of these and the raw hem on the top piece was a nice touch. A bit of a spurge, but easily a repeat casual, no-fuss go-to to make those necessary trips out…so good!

  1. I have yet to hop onto this tie dye bandwagon, but I’m sure it’ll happen eventually, even if it is just for loungewear to cozy up in at home. Great picks!
