If you have been following along, it should come as no surprise that despite currently roughing out a heat wave, I have been shopping and channeling all the fall vibes and looking forward to styling and wearing some new seasonal favorites.
I know, I know….I could already hear the cries of “but summer’s not over yet!” If I’m being honest, I absolutely love the heat and live for all the dog days of summer, but as soon as August rolls in, retailers are transitioning into all things fall. As someone who also can’t wait for just about anything, I of course started to peruse all the new fall lines and started adding to cart, lol.
So today I am sharing a look with pieces I recently picked up while shopping for some new Walmart Fashion fall finds. A very understated look with some casual basics but with fun pops to mix it up. To start, I loved the look of this cropped cardigan; basically an updated take on a grandpa cardi. Gray is a seasonal go-to for me as I love to live in all black everything in the colder months….(I know, so New York, lol). So it’s no surprise I paired it with these high waisted distressed skinny jeans. The combo is easy and effortless, but feels pulled together.
Now because the foundation of my look is neutral and subdued, I like to amp up the look with some fun accessories. Leopard is STILL a favorite, and I love the interest the pop of print adds to the outfit. These fun leopard print sneakers give me a designer look for less, especially with the sparkle heel accent! Lastly, I added a matching clutch, some super sparkly earrings and oversized sunnies to complete the look. I love how it all came together and easily see this outfit being on repeat this season.
Bonus find were these cute shearling lined lug boots. Love the texture the croc accents add and appreciate the added height the chunky sole provides. Such a great find!
