The other day, I went out to run some errands and grab a quick bite to eat, so I wanted to share with you all the simple yet very “House of Sequins” look I put together. Since the weather is still pretty warm in New York, I am wearing very breathable and airy clothing. This Free People Striped Island Girl Hacci Top was perfect for my day out, because it is a lighter material, and it is loose fitting, which I love. It is currently 50% off and $34. I am wearing size extra small for sizing.
I paired this top with my TopShop Kiri Fray Hem shorts that are only $52. They are very edgy and chic because of the high waist and fringey frayed hem. I am so happy that I found these denim shorts to add to my collection. As most looks go, I had to add on my Gucci Leather belt in the brown leather. While I know that this piece is a bit pricier at $450, I think it is a great investment because I wear it with everything weather I wear my brown, black or blush colored one. It is such a great designer item and I definitely have gotten my money’s worth.
For my bag, I wore my brown Tory Burch Block T Leather Top Handle Satchel bag. It is a classic handbag, and goes perfectly with my dressed down looks, but I also know I can wear it just as easily if I wanted to dress up in say some skinny jeans and a blazer!
My necklace is my usual and all-time favorite Baublebar Amber Layered Chain Y Necklace that is $48 and comes in a couple of finished. I love this necklace because it has the layered look in just one necklace. I don’t have to do the layering myself and worry about my necklaces getting tangled.
