Food and clothes share a common theme: both change with the season. Just like we swap out our bikinis for chunky knit sweaters, we also put away our summer BBQ. As soon as the season’s shift, so does the menu at Stork. During my trip to London this past weekend, I had the privilege to dine at the exquisite Stork Restaurant and Lounge bar. A modern and chic new restaurant, which opened this April, located in the heart of London. After seeing all the pictures on Instagram, I knew that I had to give it a try! It is a unique and exotic mixture of West African and eastern European cuisines that offer there customers a la carte options, a set menu, a variety of drinks and the most delicious desserts.

If you are scouting out all the restaurants in London for a fun cocktail you can get a straw into and a snap of, you definitely need to check out Stork. It definitely did not disappoint. I started off my meal with the most delicious cocktail that came in the cutest bird glass. Seriously, I wanted to take that bird back home with me!

Let’s face it, as much as we may love a good cocktail, there’s something so much more instagrammable about drinking out of a glass shaped like a bird. I am picturing it on your feed right now!

Deep thoughts: Is a restaurant worth going to if it’s not Instagram-worthy? I think not!

To start I ordered the wild garlic braised short rib of beef and couldn’t have been happier with my decision. The gooey egg on top made it like nothing I have ever had before and it was incredibly tasty!

I can never say no to a good dessert (or two!) Especially when it’s just so insta-worthy! I indulged in the white chocolate egg and loved every single bite. It was filled with an amazing vanilla cream and apricot jam, surrounded by candy floss and white chocolate flowers. It was almost too cute to eat! However, my favorite was the granny smith apple, it was way to pretty to even put my fork in! It was an almond sponge with the most delicious apple filling and granny smith mousse with a side of creamy yoghurt ice cream- I wish I was eating it right now! This is something everyone should try when they eat at Stork!

What I love about this restaurant is that there menu is seasonal so it is constantly changing and incorporating new dishes throughout the year. There is something there for everyone to enjoy so I would definitely recommend Stork to anyone in London.

  1. Okay, this place looks SO. GOOD. If I ever get the chance to visit and go to London, I will most definitely be visiting here!

  2. I do love it when restaurants shift their menus to reflect the seasons, and everything you had looks like it was just divine! Plus that bird glass really is something special!
