Most days I don’t get ready at all and live in my cozy lounge wear for most of it, then back into pajamas to start the cycle all over again. But for those days I need to get out, whether to run needed errands, do some last minute shopping or grab some local take-out, I have some tried and trues that I consistently gravitate towards.
You know something is a favorite when you wear it on repeat and that is exactly what this funnel neck Nike hoodie is. Wearing black and gray is practically a religion for me so I own one in each color. It’s the sporty and casual cozy vibe that does it for me. The simple lines and slouchy fit makes it an easy reach for me, especially since sneakers are my footwear of choice. Add to that how easy they are to wear with baseball caps and not having to style my hair is an added bonus! They are easily my most worn for all the reasons mentioned and would highly recommend. For similar reasons, these Champion crew neck sweatshirts are a solid contender, but I would much prefer the added warmth the Nike pullover provides.
For something a little more fun, especially for the holiday season, I’ve enjoyed wearing this Lover + Friends turtleneck sweater. I love a good chunky knit and this multi-colored and marled pullover makes wearing color effortless and super easy to accessorize with any color pom pom beanie or scarf that complements!
The colorful look is fun, but I am much more drawn to neutrals and solid pieces that I can accessorize with prints and textures in the form hats, scarves and handbags. Whether it looks like an oversized red cableknit sweater and plaid scarf or basic black crewneck and graphic print scarf like I styled here, having the solid base makes it easier to play around with accessories and switching them up for a different look!
