Must Have Fall Outfits

It’s now October and for me that means hitting up my local cider mill and loading up on the season’s freshest picked apples, some homemade fall pastry treats and warm apple cider.

I took advantage of a beautiful sunny day and made my way to the Jericho Cider Mill, a local establishment that has been in the area since 1820! I make my way there every year during this time for some warm and fresh apple cider doughnuts and homemade pies. The above outfit (paired with these faux fur mules from Target) was my outfit of the day. I needed a reason to wear this new ASTR the Label chunky knit sweater I snagged from Amazon. The rich rust color screams fall and it a must have hue in my fall fashion lineup.

One of my more fun finds recently is this animal print ruched ruffle mini skirt from Abercrombie. I love the season friendly camel and black print combo and it makes for a fun and flirty vibe. I let the skirt be the star of my outfit, keeping everything else black. I paired it with an oversized  chunky turtleneck sweater, over the knee boots and accessorized with a structured handbag to complete the look.

The color combination is a consistent go-to this time of year; the black and tan look is classic and always chic. A more dressed down and casual look featuring this pairing is this flatlay styled with my favorite animal print oversized cardigan I picked up from Walmart. The grandpa style silhouette make for a cozy fit and the trendy print will please many. I can bet this one won’t last on the racks; It will sure sell out because it’s that good!

Lastly I included a look I wore to a business lunch that included this houndstooth blazer from Express and I rounded up all of my shoes and booties I will be looking forward to wearing this season. Almost all are neutrals and animal prints (clearly I have a type, lol). But in addition to these, I will be getting plenty use out of these new leopard print Adidas Swift Run sneakers.

Getting out more these days means getting the opportunity to wear all my recent finds. Next will be pumpkin picking; even if it’s from my local farmer’s market! 🙂
