If you’re thinking of dressing in patriotic spirit for July Fourth but don’t want to be literal about it, this is the perfect way to work red, white, and blue into your look. I went outside of my comfort zone a bit for this look here. And the star of the show is definitely this skirt. I just love the color and the stripe pattern. It is by Free People and it is their “It’s A Wrap Skirt”, and it is only $48! Yes, under $50! Also, it is out of my comfort zone as well, because it is actually much longer than most of the skirts and shorts I wear. But it is 100% cotton, which I love and it is super soft and comfortable to wear.
It wouldn’t be a House of Sequins look if I wasn’t showing a little bit of skin, so instead of a shirt, I opted for my favorite bralette by Free People. You all know I have this bralette in every single color, so I went for the nude shade for this look. Again, I have said this before, but I will tell you all again, this bralette is only $38, which is why I have it in almost every color (and they have 17 colors).
To cover up a bit, and balance the whole look, I paired my bralette with this Denim Jacket by Madewell. It is a great classic jacket for under $120! It is super soft and a bit distressed, and is one of my favorite classic pieces. For my purse, I wore this Rebecca Minkoff Love Clutch that is currently on sale for $128 in the color putty. It is a nice gray-white shade that goes with so much and is a great color for the spring and summer. Lastly, I put on my Amber Layered Y Chain Necklace by BaubleBar. It comes in gold, rose gold and silver and is $48. It is a great statement piece, because it is 3 necklaces in one!
