The year is coming to a close and along with all the resolutions comes clearing out the old and organizing my spaces for the new year.
Most Sundays I go around my apartment cleaning and organizing to try to keep the crazy to a minimum, but this time of year I always get a renewed energy to purge like crazy and optimize every corner of my place. Because of my line of work, it’s crucial for me to keep things neat and organized, otherwise I would end up overwhelmed with all the stuff!
I’m sure there will be more future posts as we head into the new year, but today I am sharing a couple key pieces that I have accumulated throughout the course of the year that have really impacted my space, especially when it comes to my closet organization. Not long after this time last year, I added this combination shelving and garment rack. It has consistently served as a landing pad for try-on sessions, Insta-worthy styled outfit inspo and housing extra seasonal pieces. It has been a best seller since I’ve shared it almost a year ago now and one of my favorite Amazon finds to date!
A close second has to be this hat organizer I snagged from Walmart. It really is such a simple idea, but for the longest time I struggled with finding a storage solution for all of my baseball caps and wool fedoras. Other hats like knit beanies and the like were easily stored in drawers or bins, but caps and structured hats need to retain their shape and I was quickly running out of shelf space for all of them. It wasn’t until I discovered this handy hat hack that I was able to keep all my hats all in one place without damaging the integrity of their shape. Extra perk is having them all visible, making it easier to style outfits!
Hopefully one of these might be useful for your space. As I hunker down for the dead of winter, I look forward to sharing some more of my organization finds in the coming weeks!
