Abercrombie is easily one of my favorite retailers to go for cozy fashion and lounge wear; they just get that stuff right every time. I’m always happy with their denim as well but it should be noted that their basics are quality staples worth considering as well.
When I think of wardrobe basics, I’m not just talking about minimalist, solid colored pieces. I consider them the wardrobe workhorses of your closet because of their versatility and frequency of use. So although I love a good bargain, tee shirt and a rock bottom price, I’m fully aware they won’t last the long haul. For those pieces I know I going to get a good amount of wear, I don’t mind spending a little more (without breaking the bank either). Abercrombie hits that mid-level tier for me. Still budget friendly, but higher level quality that will last me more than one season.
On today’s post I’m sharing some of those tried and true workhorses. Personally, sweaters, camis and jeans are on rotation year round for me so I know they will get their use put in. I love Abercrombie distressed denim, shorts and skinnies alike. They are comfortable with just enough stretch without restriction, and I find they maintain their shape after washes. You can’t go wrong with anything high rise, but I especially love their skinnies, boyfriend and mom jean styles.
Summer heat has never been a deterrent from wearing sweaters. In fact I think cardigans are just as much a summer staple with all the places pumping freezing cold air conditioning throughout the season. This staple is an absolute necessity for me and doubles as a lightweight jacket in warmer temps. This textured open front cardigan in creamy white is a great summer option, especially for cooler nights. I am already eyeing the same knit in a burnt sienna color; I’m thinking it would be great for the fall!
