With all of this extra time at home, I have been working my way around every room in my apartment re-organizing, re-arranging and decorating.
Well before the shelter at home order hit my area, I was already riding that decorating train at the start of the new year. Already had every intention of sprucing up my loft work space and living room areas, and my bedroom was in need of some personal touches.
Walmart and Amazon always reliable sources, and usually my first go-tos whenever I’m looking for furniture pieces or decorative accents for my home. On occasion I will find things from other retailers like Target and Nordstrom as well, as they always have decor worthy pieces, so all of my finds on today’s mood boards are a mish mash from all of these.
More recently I have been on the hunt for new hanging clothing storage and decided on this garment rack from Amazon. The white and light brown wood marries well with the other furniture and decor in my space, but I mostly love that it has both a hanging rod and shelves. For something a little more luxe, I found this brass and marble shelf unit that I loved, but unfortunately was too big for my space. The lines of this shelf makes it a piece of art in itself I think and wish I was able to make it work!
If you follow along on Instagram, you will have seen my pink and gold chairs I keep in my work space. These velvet dining chairs are a super similar style and come in a set of two and a great price point! They are definitely a focal point in my loft area and so they have been the inspiration behind a lot of my decor choices for my space.
Still on the hunt for some new bedroom side tables and maybe some bedding. Hopefully you’ve found some inspo to make home that much cozier!
