While we didn’t stay in Athens too long, Brittany and I really did enjoy exploring for the two days we were there. It is a city of so much history and rich culture, and you can definitely see that the second you arrive and speak to any local. During our time in Athens, we stayed at the Hotel Grande Bretagne, which is right in the heart of Athens. The hotel has gorgeous views of Acropolis, it located next to Parliament and is in regal Syntagma Square where everything is happening and there is tons of shopping!
For our first day around the city, I went for a causal look and wore this Cozy Nights Tie Front shirt by Billabong. It is a super relaxed and oversized top that is great for just walking around and site-seeing. I paired it with some denim shorts by One Teaspoon that are my go to denim and my Pelle Moda sandals, which was perfect for our day out!
I also wore my Santorini Set by Free People, which made an appearance a couple of times on this trip! It is so easy to throw on, and is simple like wearing a dress or a romper. It is a whole outfit and isn’t fussy. It is under $150, and I absolutely love how flowy it is! I wore this look to the rooftop bar Brittany and I went to for drinks on our first night arriving.
One of the best things about the Hotel Grande Bretagne was their rooftop bar. Every morning, we would wake up and be at breakfast around 7am before the sunrise. The view of Acropolis is unlike any other, and just for the breakfast and view, I would say you need to stay at this hotel! The breakfast is a buffet style, but you could also order anything you want from their delicious menu. My favorite item was their homemade jelly donut holes. If you know me, you know how much I love donuts, so these were definitely a winner in my book!
