As Spring starts to roll around I’ve been getting excited to get out of the house a bit but am still trying to limit my interactions in stores. Thankfully, my Walmart+ membership has been coming in so handy with free delivery from my store and free shipping from Walmart.com!
If you’re not familiar with Walmart+ let me tell you a little about it. Walmart+ is a new kind of membership from Walmart that has heaps of benefits. The benefits that I use the most are the Free Delivery from my store (with a $35 minimum and restrictions apply) and the Walmart+ free shipping from Walmart.com with no order minimum (excluding freight and Marketplace items). What’s the difference? The free delivery from the store is a benefit that I use to order things like my groceries or over the counter medications and the free shipping from Walmart.com is what I use to order things for around my house like a new cutting board or a trendy knife set.
The free delivery and shipping aren’t the only benefits of a Walmart+ membership! If you’re comfortable going into stores nowadays you can take advantage of Mobile Scan & Go which lets you shop in the store and check out on your phone. You just scan, pay and can be on your way! With a Walmart+ membership you can also get member prices on fuel. You can save 5 cents per gallon at Walmart, Sam’s Club and Murphy fuel stations. Every little bit adds up – especially when you’re filling up.
Last week the weather was super nice so I wanted to take advantage and get out of the house to see some of the cherry blossoms. I decided to have a last minute picnic and was able to order strawberries, lemons and limes and even a bouquet of flowers (just because!). Earlier in the week I had ordered some sandwich bags and paper plates from Walmart.com (they came the next day!) and they came in really handy to have around to get ready to leave on the go.
I got together a cute little throw blanket, threw on a pair of sandals and a fedora (to really channel the warm weather vibes!) and had the best day just relaxing by a pond under some beautiful blossoms. My Walmart+ membership really came in the clutch to save me some time while still allowing me to plan a last minute day-trip!
