If you have kept up with my recent blog posts, especially after the start of the new year, you’ll have noticed I shared some mood boards of my home organization and decor picks. Since I received such a positive response from my followers (and get asked all the time about anyway, lol), I thought I’d share furniture and decor pieces I actually have in my home.
First, I’ll share a little about my personal design style. I am by no means a professional with any level of design experience, but I know what I like and I try to stay true to that. I love finding bargain pieces to decorate my space because it allows me the freedom to switch things up when I get bored or want to add to existing decor. And because I’m not spending a ton on doing so, I can play around with the look seasonally or whenever the mood hits without the financial burden of how it would affect my pocket!
Having said that, I tend to leave the more splurge purchases to my bigger furniture items. I generally stick with neutral everything like my living room sofa and area rug because it also allows me to decorate seasonally or for holidays with ease. It literally serves as a blank canvas to sprinkle in all the fun with the smaller details!
I rounded up every room in my home with all the main furniture, decor accents and favorites I like to keep in my personal space. All the mood boards are shoppable with links should you find inspiration and want to pick something up!
Home is where I spend the majority of my time so why not make it a place I love to live in!
