When in Miami, it is fun to be a little bit more extra, or flashy with your pool and beachwear. Miami is known for all of the glitz and glam when it comes to heading to a pool party, going on a boat, or heading to the beach with friends. So with this pool look, I went all out and paired my new swimsuit (which makes a great body suit by itself), with my denim shorts, this gorgeous kimono and my new summer heels!
Let me break this look down for you a bit more. The one-piece swimsuit is by The Bikini Lab and features this ribbed plunging neckline. This suit runs extremely small, as I would typically order a small but am wearing a large. So I would size up about two sizes. The color is really what makes the suit for me. It is in the color “Orchid” and is the perfect shade of blush/pink/lavender and looks great with a tan!
One of my favorite pieces that I have ordered for spring and summer is this Free People Let’s Dance Jacket! It has this beautiful ornate print and is extra-long and silky. It can go over a bathing suit, a tank top and shorts, and so much more! I think this is going to be one of my favorite items this summer! For my clutch, I wore the Shiraleah Mare Straw Clutch that keeps going out of stock because it is such a hot spring/summer item. It is a great hot-weather accessory and goes with just about anything you want to pair it with.
For shorts, I found these Free People Loving Good Vibrations Shorts that are a great purchase for summer. They are only $68 and are perfectly distressed! As for my heels, yes I decide to wear heels to the pool, I found these Nine West Ibyn Platform Sandals. They are in Light Gold Leather and are just under $110. They have a bold platform which makes them easy to walk in. They can definitely be dressed up for night time, but I also think they make a great day time heel as well!
