Missing the sunshine lately; it’s been cold and dreary last few days here in New York and I’m already reminiscing about the warmer cami and cardigan days of Fall!
On some days, I’m still able to get away with wearing my cardigans as we head into the winter season. It’s the look I’m sharing on today’s post and it’s a good one. I can’t resist a good cardigan, less so if its a leopard print one! This open front long leopard cardigan ticked off both boxes. It should be no surprise that I scored it on Amazon, lol. It has a nice mid-weight feel, perfect for nicer fall days or to add that extra layer in a cold office. What sold me was the deep pockets and cozy oversized fit. On this day, I layered it over one of my favorite lace camis from Express. It’s a silky staple I keep in rotation and because of the adjustable straps and versatility, I own it in three colors!
But even better than this leopard cardi and cami were these Steve Madden leather booties i picked up at Walmart of all places! Love the buckle and zipper accents; they give a edgy detail to my whole look. They are surprisingly comfortable; the stacked wooden heel offers that stability, even with the extra height. I loved them with ankle length skinnies best to show off all the boot details.
To balance the edginess of my boots, I accessorized with my sequin crossbody bag. It was the perfect feminine accent to my outfit. And since I was just out running easy errands that day, It was all I needed to carry and keep me hands free, (to carry the dozen doughnuts I picked up on my way home). What can I say, it was a good day!
