So it looks like Amazon strikes again, but this time it’s everything shoes! I may have gone a little extra shopping footwear this month… I blame Covid and all the shelter in place orders that had me spending countless hours indulging in retail therapy just to maintain my sanity.
Ok, so if I’m being honest, I didn’t need pandemic life to give me any reason to shop, especially for shoes. But it DID increase my odds of a fuller online cart, lol. All jokes aside, I was just looking for some neutral shoe options, and that included sandals and sneakers as well. And since I didn’t have any specifics in mind, I went with Amazon, simply for all the brand and style options for a one stop shop.
The only thing I did know was that I wanted a new pair of white sneakers; a summer outfit staple for me. I had used my last pair of Superga Cotu Classics to death and knew it was time for a replacement pair. I loved them so much it was an easy repeat purchase and this time I also got them in light grey and in a taupe nude espadrille style.
And because the espadrille is also a summer style favorite for me, I snagged these Tory Burch Inis pair; a buttery camel leather with their iconic logo embroidered on the vamp. Also picked up these tan Sam Edelman Catherine ones that feature woven suede details; both are an easy slip on and the neutral tones make them a versatile option for any summer casual outfit.
While I was shopping, I couldn’t check out without some leopard print making it’s way into my cart so I added these Sam Edelman Granada slides, and for a budget friendly option, these Amazon Brand cheetah print ones; equally as cute for a fraction of the price!
Lastly, in an effort to add to my growing athletic sneaker collection, I saw this New Balance pair and loved the oyster and blush combo of their iconic retro style sneaker. I knew I already loved the style, but the color combo nailed it for me…so pretty!
So i might be all set in the shoe department for the season, lol. Which is your favorite?
