It’s been brought to my attention over and over again since I began putting these holiday gift guides together that men are the hardest to shop for. I’ve received numerous messages in my Instagram DMs and countless requests from women needing help to shop for the men in their lives.

With that in mind, I am kicking off this year’s guide holiday compilations with gift ideas for him, whoever he is and whatever “type” of guy he is. I kept the scope broad enough to include indulgent splurges like a Sonos home theatre soundbar for that extra special someone, but because this year is unlike so many, posing all kinds of challenges across the board, the majority of my finds are budget friendly. I have also kept mindful of including smaller items; making packing and shipping easier for far away loved ones you may not be able to visit this year.

I didn’t forget to include teen boys from the list either. Some are sure to be instant hits, (especially for any gamers on your list), but I tried yo think outside the typical box as well and offer some creative options. Also because the holidays may look a lot more different this year, many will not be traveling like in year’s past. Whether you’re keeping it close to home or not venturing out at all, I focused on “at home” gifts to make that time a little brighter, cozier and more fun.
