The House of Sequins

Walmart and Amazon Outdoor Decor

Blogger Sarah Lindner of The House of Sequins rounding up amazon outdoor furniture

So I don’t know when the country will open back up again, but New York has recently extended social distancing guidelines and shelter in place orders through mid May.

With no option to travel anytime soon, or even to venture to local beaches and pools, I’ve been scouring the internet to find something to add to my little outdoor space. Having a tiny balcony keeps my options limited, but rest assured I will be making the most of it!

So in all my online shopping ventures I came across so many good finds that I thought I’d share some of my favorite finds. I may not have an expansive outdoor space, but I know many of my followers do. Even if it’s a smaller space like mine, I made sure to include options for all the potential possibilities!

Keeping size in mind, many of these pieces will work easily in most outdoor spaces. If you’re fortunate enough to have a massive yard or  deck, the larger furniture pieces would make a great addition. Smaller balconies, patios or even porches would be better served my mixing and matching smaller pieces or opting for a space friendly bistro set like this Acacia wood folding bistro set.

I understand not everyone has the luxury of added space outside, but with a little creativity, you can bring the outdoors in! I love this hanging rope hammock chair for an indoor option. Suspend it from a beam in your ceiling so it will safely support your weight and hang it by a window! Surround the space with some plants or flowers or if your like me and lack the green thumb, maybe invest in some faux plants like i did!

Whatever you may be working with, sprucing up your space isn’t a bad idea with more time expected at home. The benefit of sheltering at home was rediscovering my balcony and I am definitely enjoying the process of making it work better for me so I can enjoy it to the fullest!

  1. These are great picks! I want some new stuff for our patio but I’d need more room haha

  2. Can you send me
The link to shaded chaise lounge? I can’t find it🤔

  3. This seriously makes me wish I had an outdoor space. Living in a townhome community means zero patio space and the fear of things being taken (yikes). But I know in the future, my husband and I want to have a great outdoor space, so I’ll come back to this for sure!

  4. Working on your outdoor area is perfect right now since we’re all spending so much time at home. Love your picks!

  5. I need to get some string lights for my back porch, totally grabbing these!

  6. ah i am dying for new outdoor furniture but we have so many other projects going on right now i should probably wait. def revisiting this when we do, though!
