Walmart is my go-to for impromptu and regular grocery needs. And for good reason! When it comes to hosting, Walmart offers everything I need for celebrations big and small. Especially with larger groups, staying on budget is key. Their everyday low prices make it easy to scale back when necessary, but doing so does not skimp on quality. And with Walmart’s Curbside Pickup, being able to skip the in-store rush to grab everything I need couldn’t be easier. For me, that’s planning made simple!
This Memorial Day will be the first time I will be hosting some neighbors at my place in Florida. It gets pretty steamy here by the afternoon, so a casual early brunch is what I opted for. Self serve and buffet style eats are what I’m planning. The star of the show being my Memorial Day themed charcuterie board. I went with a breakfast themed spread of star shaped mini waffles, fresh berries, whipped topping and powdered sweets. I arranged all the goodies thoughtfully and presented on a chic marble board. It will be the centerpiece of my tablescape surrrounded with festive decor. I will also offer an assortment of spreads, syrups and honey in star shaped bowls perfect for dunking and serving.
