If you have been following me on IG, then you have seen me share my journey to renovate my condo. Recently I updated my followers that I’ve completed my laundry area. So today I am sharing some of my laundry room organization finds in hopes to offer some inspo!
When it comes to chores, doing laundry is possibly my least favorite because it can be so time consuming. Admittedly, that might be the case because I let it pile up. Then I dread the mountain that forms as a result of it. Yikes. That said, a few laundry room organization finds can help brighten the experience of an otherwise boring and tedious chore. I have been on a mission to upgrade my condo to fit my aesthetic. I love a good minimalist space, especially in the workhorse spaces of a home. (Think kitchen, baths and laundry). I have tried to incorporate those themes throughout my condo, and I am loving the result.
To start, I was I do not have a dedicated laundry room. Instead, my washer and dryer are tucked in a closet off my main hallway. So because I was working with minimal square footage, maximizing the space was priority. Initially, the space was fitted with bare walls and wire shelving. I quickly upgraded those to some wallpaper and thick wood floating shelves. Just these two upgrades alone transformed the space! The space instantly felt bigger and and created a clean canvas to work with.
In keeping with a clean, minimalist aesthetic, I opted for a variety of clear containers to decant my laundry detergents, pods and product. I purchased everything on Amazon, and you can shop my finds on my storefront. Gone are all the obnoxious colors of and plastic containers! The result is a cohesive, elevated look. And because everything is budget-friendly, regardless of what your laundry space looks like, you can achieve this look with minimal effort!
