It’s been almost a month since my last trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida and I already wish I was back! Today’s post is the first installment of my Disney adventures. I had the opportunity to visit multiple theme parks, so because there was so much to see and do, I decided to dedicate a separate post for each experience.

As my most favorite place on earth, I have been to Disney World MANY times, but have always gone during off peak seasons (late August and September). This was the first time I visited during their Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. which take place during spring and early summer, with this year running a whole month longer through July 5th. The festival itself takes place at Epcot, which if you’re not familiar, is the theme park where you get to “travel around the world,” experiencing the tastes and sounds of countries all over the globe.

The festival is highlighted with botanical character themed topiaries and beautiful floral displays of over 30 million blooms throughout the park;  blogger backdrop’s dream! While I did enjoy all the glorious garden displays, let’s be honest, like many, for me it was all about the food! For a lot of Disney World visitors, it’s essentially a spring version of their popular Food & Wine Festival (their most popular of the year).

So for my fellow foodies, the Outdoor Kitchen food booths are an incredibly popular element of the festival. And Disney has made the dining experience that much easier with Disney Gift Card wristlets; refillable digital dining cards with special-edition designs to celebrate the festival! They are available at merchandise locations throughout EPCOT and at EPCOT resort area hotels for the length of the festival, while supplies last.

I LOVE food, and I definitely took advantage and indulged quite a bit. The following is what I got to enjoy, and is just a sample of all the savory goodness and decadent treats offered throughout the park. For reference, here’s a full list of all the flower garden festival outdoor kitchens and menus. If you ever find yourself in Disney World during spring, the festival is a must!
