Organizing My Work Space

I have mentioned in previous posts that more so than turning the calendar from December to January for the new year, September has always felt like the start of something new for as long as I can remember.

I attribute that to years of going to school and the anticipation of starting a new school year. I think it’s safe to say that same excitement has been engrained and I continue to look forward to that every year. Even with pandemics looming and the uncertainty of it all, this year has been no exception.

In the past week, I have spent some time setting up a more formal workstation in my apartment. If you don’t already know, I do not have a dedicated office, and primarily use the loft space in my apartment as a work landing zone of sorts. (I also get a lot of laptop work done on my sofa). Maybe it’s all the extra time at home the last few months, but I have been wanting something a little more formal to keep my work and living spaces more separate and intentional.

I was just an Amazon order away from having it all come together, lol. I had ben slowly adding some desk accessories, stationary (with touches of leopard of course!) and decorative additions to make my space both productive as well as aesthetically pleasing. I don’t know about you, but I am way more inspired to work when I enjoy my space, so I made sure to add some pretty touches that bring a little joy…even the small addtion of a fall scented candle does it for me!

Because the space also has to serve as a rotating closet for all the pieces that get to style and review, I also picked up some organization solutions like this sunglasses case and hat organizer to maximize the limited space I have to work with.

Still a work in progress, but loving how everything is coming together!

  1. I love how u did the hats. But my only question is that I’ll the clips leave a dent in the hat. If not I’m sold on getting one. Also love the sunglasses storage.

  2. I found a similar hat organizer on the Walmart website, is that where you got yours ? Or Target ?
