I may have done some retail therapy earlier this month during some darker gloomy days.
Nothing like rainy days for spending an admittedly obscene amount of time online shopping, lol. But in my fashion blogger defense, it’s part of the gig, all in the name of helping my followers find all the great deals, trendy finds and sharing seasonal favorites! 🙂
So it wasn’t long before my Amazon cart was full with cozy knits and chunky accessories. My order was massive, so this is only half of all the goodies I picked up, so I will be sharing the rest in another post sometime soon. Today I am sharing all those things that already came in the mail, starting with this orange batwing turtleneck. It’s cozy oversized fit featuring a textured knit and loose neck. I styled it with this plaid blanket scarf, studded Vince Camuto saddle bag in a rich cognac color and tall suede boots for this look.
For a similar, but more neutral look, I styled this sandy colored chunky oversized cableknit with the same denim and camel Sam Edelman boots, this time with a blush and taupe plaid scarf and a complementing slouchy tote to match. If I had to choose, I favor this style over the orange one because its a thicker, cozier knit, simply because I hate being cold. But the lighter knit of both of these orange sweaters make them solid layering pieces that would fit comfortably under a jacket or coat.
I love anything star print so this star color block pullover was a must for me. I’m aware the large graphic is not everyone’s cup of tea, but if you like fun bold prints, this one is a great option and is available in tn other color combinations!
My least favorite of the bunch was not a total win for me. I sized up to a medium thinking it would run small, so that might be why I’m not in love with the fit of this wrap sweater. I love the idea, a nice structured change over the more bulky and oversized options I’m used to, so I may exchange it for a smaller size and hope for a better fit.
Stay tuned for round two of his epic haul coming soon!
