We are nearing the end of August and as I mentioned in a previous post, I have started shopping all the fall themed home decor and pieces to cozy up my space for the upcoming season. For a curated round up of my favorites from all those new arrivals, (specifically from Target and Walmart Home), you can check out that post here.
Today is a continuation of that post; diving deeper into both their newest fall home decor lines. Since that post, both retailers have added some season worthy home finds, that I just couldn’t resist sharing, like new additions to the Theshold line by Studio McGee at Target. I also added a roundup of Amazon Home finds, and collectively I am loving all the neutral, “lived in” vibes all these pieces, (especially when styled together), have.
The overall theme and color story to my finds had all the Fall vibes in mind. So it is with warmer neutral tones, organic natural textures mixed with dark and brass metal accents that I was going for. Each retailer had a great assortment of such finds, with beautiful stoneware vases and lighting, woven basket collections and furniture pieces that marry that old meets modern aesthetic.
I especially love the trend of incorporating varying textures; it adds so much richness to a space. Layering different fabrics, (especially when tone on tone), adds dimension, interest and amps up the cozy factor for all those chilly fall nights ahead. Try mixing materials, whether they be velvet, chunky knit throws, chenille, or faux fur…use these collages as inspo!
