Located on the first floor of The Time Hotel, right in midtown Manhattan, just a couple of blocks away from Broadway is the perfect Italian restaurant with a nostalgic vibe. The perfect dinner spot if you are headed to a show. I would recommend making reservations especially if you are going to a play. The menu has a great selection of pasta and pizza options as well as other Italian food. In addition to the best focaccia bread I’ve ever tasted, we chose to split two appetizers. We chose the buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes and the basil and imported Italian burrata cheese with cherry tomatoes. The portion size was just perfect to split between three people and I might add that both dishes were delicious! For myself, I ordered the Ravioli Alla Salvia which was homemade spinach and ricotta ravioli served with butter and sage. I finished it in about four minutes that’s how good it was! One of my friends ordered the 4 Stagioni brick oven pizza with tomato, mozzarella, mushrooms, artichokes, pesto, prosciutto di parma which we were able to watch be made in the brick oven right next to us. My other guest chose the linguine alle vongole veraci pasta with baby clams, touch of tomatoes, white wine, garlic, and olive oil. By the time we were all finished with our entrees we were way too full for dessert but the dessert menu did look fabulous. Ice cream covered in Nutella, anyone?? I definitely know for the next time I visit I need to save some room to try a few things! The service was outstanding and if you are looking to watch a sports game, they have quite a few large screen TVs around the bar. The next time you’re in the city I definitely recommend you making a plan to have a meal here!
