Ever wondered what I look like without my face paint of makeup? Well world, here I am! I have arrived all bare and naked faced for you. Before starting any treatments at Truth & Beauty such as facials, peels or anything that has to do with my face they offer a service called “the moment of truth” where a licensed medical esthetician does a “visia” skin analysis on your face. I had actually never heard of a VISIA skin analysis scan but I’m always open to learning about new things especially when it’s pertaining to my own skin. The visia uses advanced uv and digital technology to take in-depth photos of your skin.
The machine is a circular dome that has a place for you to rest your chin on and then a bright light flashes and takes an image of your face. After that the consultant does a 12 point face mapping on the computer screen for the software to analyze. The results are displayed about 20 seconds afterwards.
These photos show fine lines, wrinkles, redness, rosacea, pore size, UV sun damage, brown spots, texture, and porphyrins (oil and bacteria buildup). Then it compares your results to thousands of women in your age group. I have received my original results but want it to be more exciting when I can compare to how much better my skin gets as I receive more treatments. So stay tuned as I keep you posted with some before and after pictures with Truth & Beauty.

Your skin looks flawless! This looks like a super neat technology–and I’ve never heard of it. I’ll research in Houston and see if I can find something similar. Thanks for sharing!
Wow! This is actually pretty amazing! I would love to give this try and get an analysis of my complexion. Technology is amazing.
