Hello London.

In London, Travel by Sarah Lindner0 Comments

England is one of my favorite countries – the beautiful accents, Bacon Butty sandwich ( a buttered roll with bacon, which is surprisingly quite nice), the iconic bright red phone booths, oh and lets not forget David Beckham. Him alone can make you fall in love with the country!

I would like to say I did a lot of sightseeing but in true Sarah fashion I ate my way through England. The most enjoyable meal I had was spending the afternoon at Tartufo Restaurant  inside NO 11 Cadogan Gardens hotel for afternoon tea. I sipped on Champagne and kiwi mango tea while nibbling on finger cut sandwiches and so many yummy pastries.

Here’s a small photo diary of my trip to England. Hope you enjoy my pictures as much as I enjoyed being there and hope to travel with you all in the future!

A real special thanks to NO 11 Cadogan Gardens hotel & Tartufo Restaurant for having me for afternoon tea.

XO.

I got to watch England VS New Zealand test match at Lord’s cricket grounds. I am still a little clueless of what is really going on in this game!

If you couldn’t tell by now, my sea of pearls LA tee is my everyday all purpose shirt. FYI if you use the code “thehouseofsequins” you can save 35% on my favorite tee!

Afternoon tea is always enjoyable with a spread that taste as good as it looks. I am not really a chocolate eater but OMG these were the freshest pastries I have ever had at Tartufo Restaurant. The warm homemade scones with strawberry jam & clotted cream were my absolute favorite of the trip. It was so good I wrapped one up and put it in my purse for a snack! Shhhh it was a secret till now!

FYI No.11 Cadogan Gardens have partnered with leading luxury hair salon Errol Douglas to create the ultimate ‘Haute Hat Hair’ package in celebration of Royal Ascot this June. Guests at No.11 can experience a two night stay in a beautiful suite with Champagne on arrival as well as full English breakfast daily. On the morning of the races, guests will be chauffeur driven to the Errol Douglas salon in Knightsbridge where they will receive a mini manicure and have their hair styled to perfection in preparation for Royal Ascot. The package will include:  A choice of Classic or Avant-garde styling  Blow dry or Up do depending on hat style  Re-varnish  Glass of Champagne Senior stylists at Errol Douglas will not only style but also share their top hat hair tips to maintain the style when the guest wishes to remove the hat. Following the Errol Douglas experience, No.11 Cadogan Gardens can arrange for a car to pick guests up from the salon and whisk them on to a day at the races.

If anyone is going to Royal Ascot, please take me with you! OK but seriously I loved this hotel and the atmosphere was just lovely! I can’t wait to stay there in the future!
